The Mirror says Hoops Supreme Tony Fernandes, has confirmed its willingness to take hold of his millions to attract the LA Galaxy star, 36, west of London.
Fernandes wrote in his Twitter account: "I think having someone like David in the club would be fantastic. It was always in my thoughts. We'll see."
But Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is also a big fan of Beckham and can offer Champions League next year if the north Londoners make it through the group stage.
Beckham trained with the Spurs last winter, but was prevented by Galaxy to complete a loan at White Hart Lane at the time.
